This presentation will provide an informative introduction to NJ’s rare, threatened and endangered freshwater mussel species. The presentation will focus on:
- Mussel habitats and ecology
- Threats to mussel populations, and
- Mussel avoidance/minimization requirements and regulations typically associated with transportation projects.
