WEBINAR | DAVEY RESOURCE GROUP
Tree inventories, canopy studies, and other data-gathering efforts have expanded communities’ access to vast datasets on trees, canopy cover, and forestry operations. Access alone is not enough, and making the most of that data requires action. Identifying the most relevant information and applying it effectively to guide urban forest management and operations can be challenging.
Through real-world case studies, this discussion demonstrates approaches to overcoming these challenges, showing how urban forestry data can be transformed into actionable insights, including developing tree-pruning lists, creating effective planting strategies, and strengthening public confidence in local urban forestry programs.
